Who does Real Relief Myofascial Release treat?

Real Relief Myofascial Release treats those experiencing any amount of physical pain, limitation of mobility or range of motion, asymmetry/imbalance, or simply wishing to prevent these unpleasant and unnecessary states and feel more at home in their body.
The embodied mind and spirit need a body that is physically capable of accomplishing what they are here in this life to do.

I treat adults who can legally make their own decisions, did their online search for " myofascial release near me ", and have educated themselves with the information on this website about the unique nature of the John F Barnes Myofascial Release Approach (JFB-MFR).

I may treat your cooperative teenager, younger child, or an adult for whom you are a guardian, if we discuss this ahead of time.
I do not treat infants or toddlers, but can refer you to other local John Barnes MFR therapists who do.

How many MFR treatment sessions will I need?

The treatment room at Real Relief Myofascial Release

Some recent injuries resolve fairly quickly, occasionally in just one session.
But most issues have developed over a period of weeks, months, or years, so it can take a series of JFB-MFR sessions to start to experience lasting improvement.

My goal is to have you need to see me less often as time goes by (and eventually only for occasional maintenance or for any new issues) as you learn to heal your own body and prevent any additional chronic issues from developing.

How can you heal your own issues?
By doing MFR self-treatment techniques at home that I will choose for you and teach you as we work together, session by session.

My patient-clients learn what to expect from MFR treatment and are invested in learning self-healing techniques.
So they eventually need me to treat them less often as they learn to correct and manage their own pain, stiffness, and dysfunction.

Our bodies need a lot of preventive maintenance to counteract the 24/7/365 mechanical and emotional stresses of everyday life.
Learning this, and being excited to commit to it, are the keys to enjoying as pain-free and active a life as possible.

Does Real Relief MFR take my insurance?

Real Relief Myofascial Release, LLC is a privately owned and operated fee-for-service practice.
I am not a provider for any private or government health insurance program, including Medicare or Medicaid, Worker’s Compensation, lawsuit settlement cases, or car accident cases.
Insurance coverage for myofascial release is currently very rare.  If you know that your insurance policy, Flexible Spending Plan, or Healthcare Savings Account will reimburse you for prescribed Myofascial Release Manual Therapy for a specific diagnosis, specific treatment interval, and number of sessions, AND if you have obtained that prescription and your Diagnosis Code(s) (ICD-10 codes) from your prescribing healthcare provider, I can provide you with the required document called a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance company.
